— Accessibility

Built to be used.

Last updated: May 22, 2026

EXISTENCE is committed to making existencebrewed.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who navigate the web with screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control, and other assistive technologies.

The standard we work toward

Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. The standard covers four principles: content should be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. We design and develop with these principles in mind.

What we have built in

  • Keyboard navigation through all interactive elements
  • Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form controls
  • Semantic HTML structure so screen readers can interpret page hierarchy
  • Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA on body text
  • Alt text on imagery where the image conveys information
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting — marquee scrolling and animation pause for users with motion sensitivity
  • Text that resizes cleanly up to 200% without breaking layout

What we are still working on

This is a new site. We have not yet completed a full third-party audit. Some areas — product detail pages, the checkout flow, and embedded apps from third-party providers — may have gaps we have not caught yet. If you hit one, please tell us. Your report is the fastest path to a fix.

How to report an issue

If you encounter content or functionality on existencebrewed.com that is difficult or impossible to use, email support@existencebrewed.com with:

  • The page URL where you ran into the problem
  • A short description of what was difficult
  • The assistive technology and browser you were using, if applicable

We aim to respond within 5 business days and fix verified issues as quickly as the change requires.

Third-party content

Some areas of the site use functionality provided by third parties — for example, Shopify's checkout, payment processing, embedded video, and email-capture widgets. We choose vendors who treat accessibility seriously, but the conformance of these embedded experiences is not solely under our control. We will work with vendors to address reported issues.

Continuous improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a checkbox. We audit pages as we build them, retest after meaningful changes, and treat user-reported issues as bugs to be fixed — not requests to be triaged. This statement will be updated as our practices evolve.
